The No.1 BEST Domain Provider 2020
The No.1 BEST Domain Provider in 2020
If you’re reading this article, you’ve probably chosen WordPress.org to create your website. So, congratulations on making the right decision and opting to create a website you can truly call your own.
Now, to use WordPress.org’s awesome free platform you need to buy your own hosting. This is where your website(s) will be stored on the web. Check out my review of the 3 best WordPress Hosting platforms for help on this stage.
The next step is to purchase your domain name. This will be the name of your website.
You’ve probably seen ads for GoDaddy, Namecheap, and other ‘cheap’ domain providers. However, despite their attractive first year rates, they renew at a much higher price and end up being far from cheap.
Always check the fine print.
Let’s take GoDaddy for example. Registering a .com domain with GoDaddy only costs €0.99 for the 1st year.
But please, don’t be fooled. Your domain will renew at €18.99 per year. Meaning that if you had the domain for 10 years, you’d be paying €171.9! Certainly not a bargain.
Now let’s turn to NameCheap. Namecheap is much better in terms of price. However, I did manage to find a domain provider who is even cheaper!
NameCheap prices their .com domains at €7.93 per year payable for 10 years. This means that your 10-year domain name with NameCheap would only cost you €79.30!
That’s almost a 50% saving when compared to GoDaddy!
Another feature that NameCheap has are ‘premium domains’ these are domains that go for €1000+ and even €10,000+ This must have to do with some sort of advanced AI they have on their site.
Here’s an example
Anyways let’s get to it, here’s the No.1 BEST domain provider in 2020.
I use LetsHost to manage my domains. They have great customer support and unbeatable prices.
The only downside is they don’t cover all domain extensions. However, for the domain extensions they do provide, they offer the best prices.
I strongly recommend LetsHost
Here’s a look at their registration pricing. It’s quite straight forward. If you register a domain with LetsHost, you can choose the amount of years you’d like to pay for; the longer the cheaper.
Again, LetsHost’s renewal pricing is by far the best and cheapest I’ve come across.
I assume you’ll want a domain for an extended period. Let’s say 10 years. So, here are some figures for you to see how much you’d be saving with LetsHost. All prices are in euros(€) and don’t include tax.
Using the above table, we can easily see that LetsHost is in fact our most cost-effective domain provider.
Another thing I’d like you to know is that LetsHost has a really simple and attractive user interface.
The customer support is top notch and usually responds within 3 hours. I only have great things to say about Letshost.
I hope you find this helpful. I really think it’s time to give these smaller companies a chance. Especially when they give us the cheapest deal!
